Bulgarian Wool Rug Floral Cross Weaving

This is such a Beautiful and Unique Rug. It is Bright and Colorful with a Large Floral Design on the surrounding area with a Center Cross Motif in the center. It has a center seam which means that the weavers loom would only accommodate that size weaving, so 2 were made and stitched together. Visible in last photo. There is an Orange border at the top and bottom. Can be used on either side either with or without the orange, see 4th and 5th picture. The Floral design and Colorful sections have a open weave around it, visible in closeup with light shining through in 3rd photo. It measures almost 4' x 6'. I say almost due to it's handmade nature and it varies slightly 47"- 47 1/2" (almost 4ft) and 70" - 71 1/2" (almost 6 ft). The edging is not perfectly straight. The flowers on the corners are very large and measure 14 1/2" Tall and 9" wide, for idea of scale.There is a center Cross motif that matches up nicely, it measures 11" x 13". It has been stored folded and would be beautiful as a wall hanging or for it's intended purpose.It would be fabulous as a covering on a couch or Wood Carved daybed. It appears to be super clean and unused. It is strictly a woven wool rug, there is no backing of jute or fabric. It's colors are very bright and bold. No faded areas, the colors are very consistent.

Fun Fact:
The national flower of Bulgaria is a Rose when I've seen photos of it, they are usually Pink. The flowers on this rug are possibly symbolizing that.
